Labor Day in NYC: brunch at Tavern on the Green and fun at Victorian gardens at Wollman rink in Central Parku

I’ve been wanting to go to tavern on the green this summer and we finally made it! I’m so sad we missed the bubble garden but we still had a great time! Food was so good, kids loved their meal and they were on their best behavior!

After lunch, we got dessert at pink berry and headed over to Victorian gardens at wollman rink.. during the winter wollman rink is an ice skating rink, but over the summer it transforms to an amusement park for little kids! Children of any age can ride some of the rides with adults, but You only need to be taller than 36 inches to be able to ride alone! And 42 inches to be able to ride all the rides! Henry is almost 40inches so he was able to go on rides alone and rich went on with Emilia. It is so much fun and is a fun summer tradition for the kids!

Tip:

1- vendors inside take cash only so don’t forget your cash!

2- All toddlers heights need to be measured before entering the park, so if your child is napping you will either have to wait until they wake up or wake them up to enter the park..

3- buy Your ticket online. It’s a little cheaper than paying admission at the gate.
